Springtime in the mountains

Yesterday in Quincy

and today

Gardening with the Wilsons

Jeffery and Dorothy plant a pear tree in Tobin.

Kyria pauses in the middle of photographing a lawnmower.
Raised gardens for cool weather veggies! Jeffery will move them into a sunny spot with the forklift.

Carrots, lettuce, broccoli, beets!

Grover's rock pile

A few of Grant's pictures

Grant has been going back to the bridge project to hike about and get new perspectives. He has allowed me to use these few so I can "brag".

We got the news today that the first part of the new Spanish Creek bridge project on Highway 70 had begun...the logging of the area. This is located about 7 miles west of Quincy, just east of the Greenville Wye. It was a beautiful day, so after we checked out the project, we continued on up the hill on the other side of the highway to the railroad tracks. There are two trestles along that stretch, one near Goat Hill and the other near Tunnel#2 at Keddie.
