Fund Raiser for Chief Petty Officer Selectees

Ruth, Zaka, and I made posters the day before and today we attended the fundraiser.  The idea was that the selectees would pump gas and wash car windows for a token donation.  I got to meet Karl's mentor, Matt, and some of his co-selectees.  It was a fun morning!

Tuesday in Newport, RI with family

We arrived in Providence, RI late Monday night and got to our hotel in Newport at midnight, so we slept well!  Tuesday morning, I ran over to see Ben and GG for a little while, then that evening, Karl, Ruth, & Isabelle arrived at our hotel to change for the Grooms/Rehearsal dinner at the Atlantic Inn.  I include some family pictures, and some of the wedding party.  What fun it all was and the kids were great!!!
