May 25, 2011
Kyria and Dorothy came for dinner and the night as usual on our weekly sleepover. Jeffery didn't make it because he is in Arizona/Utah with our friend Dick checking out Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. Kyria had been working all day in Greenville and was cold and wet (it rained/snowed today).
We watched tornado videos on the Weather channel because they are having such severe storms in the midwest currently (hopefully Kyria and Jeffery will get work with FEMA on the cleanup). We played Wii, and Grant fixed fondue for supper. Just as Dorothy arrived around 3, we had heavy snow squalls, but it didn't stick. At 9 pm, we looked outside only to discover snow sticking to everything. May 25th for goodness sakes! Here are some of the pictures to commemerate the day.

A picnic with Kyria
The covered bridge at Oregon House near Oroville, where we stopped to have a picnic lunch. Grant and I stopped at the dam below Belden on the ride home. It was a beautiful day!
