Fair Week and Parade 2012

Grant and I went to the Plumas-Sierra County Fair on Friday night, mostly because our power was out due to the local Chips Fire, and we figured we'd spend the time enjoying ourselves.  The building exhibits were closed because it was too dark, but we did walk around for a bit and have a hot dog and a homemade lemonade.

The Fair Parade was on Saturday morning and then Grant and I went back to the Fair to see what we had missed the night before.  I went back later to sit with my friends at the Democratic Committee booth, and Grant went back tonight.

One fun surprise came on Thursday.  Grant had gone over to the Fair with Dorothy and Jeffery.  I was home alone because of tummy issues and who should walk in, but Ashley!  She'd driven up from San Diego with a friend on a whim.  We visited for a while and then she went over to the Fair and had dinner and a good visit with her dad.  Great Fair time this year!
