Jeffery and Dorothy share their Scotland photos Autumn 2010

*Note: I'm getting this page set up and the pictures loaded, but I think when D & J have time, I'll invite them to come up and add captions and little stories to enhance the meaning of the shots they took.  I happen to know that there are some fun anecdotes to accompany most.

Several requests for Dorothy and Jeffery's photos of their trip to Scotland have been made to them, but since they have dial-up internet, it's nearly impossible to do this in an efficient manner, so I'm posting most of them here.  I have added pictures according to their dates and Jeffery kindly labeled everything so I will try my best to give correct info as often as possible, but if any are out of order or if people have questions, you can email me and I'll forward onward to them.  Also, as I find out more when they come to visit, I will add details to the pictures for history sake.  I'm silly that way.  (Click on any pictures to enlarge and feel free to comment)

Oh my goodness, how fantastic this trip was! These photos are amazing and the scenery in Scotland just speaks to my soul -- I could happily relocate in the blink of an eye. The castles and gardens and craggy vistas out to the ocean! I love that you hammed it up for the camera! And how exciting to get to visit family "homesteads" from both sides of the family? How cool is that? Favorite art shot: you two shadows with the silhouette of the castle on the green lawn.

Oh, I'm going to look at these again and again. Going back right now to check out the Sinclair castle. I may have some shots of Uncle Jack in the same spot on a European trip -- I'll see if I can find them!

Thanks so much for taking such fantastic photos, and to Sara for posting! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
