Lake Tahoe - Debby & Phil Travel West - October 8th-11th

Dorothy & Jeffery and Grant & I met Debby & Phil at their timeshare at Zephyr Cover on Lake Tahoe.  We drove up after work on Friday and stayed until Monday afternoon.  The condo was very nice and comfortable for us to mingle easily.   We managed to get in quite a few sights and views.  The colors and light is so vivid there that sometimes it overwhelms the camera!  Surprisingly, it was only beginning to change into fall foliage splendor, but what there was was gorgeous.  Except for Fallen Leaf Lake and Tahoe City, I'd never seen Squaw Valley, or been on the Lake in a boat, or been to the Hot Springs in Markleeville.  Grant was a wonderful tour guide.  I hope to be able to post some of his photos here as well soon.

That's Phil & debby in the black car...they'll turn left and we'll turn right!

After we all soaked and froze in the cool pool, we met at the car for fond farewells.  Debby & Phil headed back to their condo to spend the rest of the week.  The Wilsons followed us as far as Carson City and then we parted company.  Doro & I both called Debby and talked more when we got home!  It was a lovely time!
